Yuliang Xie, PhD

Assistant Professor
Biography

Dr. Xie is a biomedical engineer bringing unique expertise to the Center in microfluidics. He directs his “Pulmonary Microfluidic Laboratory,” which develops and implements engineering tools (i.e., microfluidics devices and biomaterials) to understand CF and other airway diseases. These engineering models of airway disease enable mode complex assays to understand airway physiology, therapeutic methods to treat airway diseases.
